Well i'm looking to save some money. So i'm wondering if this is a bad idea? This sound recorder does not have XLR, just a mini. So i'd need a cheap adapter. Do you think it would have a better pre-amp than most prosumer cameras? My friends XL2 audio is extremely hissy we've actually used the PCM-D50 for our entire short because it had better audio then our Azden boom mic, go figure.
