Like everybody else I am interested in the flavor of the month and would like to try to grab a few short clips over a forest where I will be doing some filming in the coming months IF this can be done without too much expense or adding too much extra bulk to my baggage.
What I am not sure about is if this is viable or not?
My main considerations are size, weight, price and if video output is adequate enough to grab a couple of short clips from not much more than tree top height to wedge as extra non-critical shots, for example a similar HD video quality and clip length to what I can get out of my iphone would be good enough.
I am also concerned about how much these things shake as this would definitely void the usefulness of whatever material I could get no matter how high the quality of the footage?
Any suggestions?
