Using 7" LCD TV for monitor

You can, but probably it is a composite monitor i.e. not so sharp and hard to focus on it when using HD.
My camera is a Sony EX3 with component HD out.
I have a 15" viewsonic HD tv with VGA/HDMI/Component/Svideo/Composite. Pal&Ntsc
I am using a component/HDMI transmitter/receiver with it. Need to buy a Remote Follow Focus unit to be complete.
I also have a 10" HD monitor for my Jib. It was a kit for 350 us$.
It is very sharp. The color Green is weak on it, but if you know, what the hack.
It has HDMI and Component and is also PAL/NTSC 24p/25p/30p/50i/60i

The native resolution is pretty low...I'd say it's good enough for viewing footage, i.e. for directors monitor.

I actually have this montior. For SD, it's great for everything, but HD you really need an HD monitor for focusing. For tracking action and such though, it's great!
