Using 24p, 25fps, and 29.97 in one 25 fps Timeline

Ok bare with me now,

First timer sorry!
I am from the UK making a European snowboard movie. I did a winter season in America, and filmed a lot of shots on a NTSC camera.
Now because i am making a UK dvd am I going to run into trouble with Frame rates, when i come to use my NTSC footage? I believe NTSC is 29.97, Pal is 25, but i have also been shooting 24p with a DVX100!
Can i put all those different clips together in the same timeline on FCP?
I have used cinema tools to conform one shot of NTSC to 25 fps, and it seemed ok! ALso FCP doesn't seem to have a trouble when i have used 24p and 25 together.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas.

Cheers, Much Appreciated,

Tim

well, you'll need to convert two of the three formats to the third. Seeing as how you're in PAL land, you should change the NTSC and the 24P footage to 50i, and edit it as normal with your PAL footage.

I used cinema tools to convert an NTSC clip from it's norm, to 25fps. It slowed it down, but when i took it into FCP, i sped it up and increased the frame size and it looked ok! Can you think of any problems i might run into doing it this way?
Cheers for the speedy reply!

If the quality looks fine to you, then you'd have no real problems. I'd think you'd be lowering quality, though-but I've never done it! If it looks fine, it'll work fine!
