Using 2 Wireless Lavs w/ DVX100A

Hi I'll be shooting in a situation in which I won't have the luxury of a sound person and have to rig two people with lavs. I'm wondering a) if there is any wireless system that could be recommended, b) how best to mount 2 receivers on the DVX, and c) if I need to run them on seperate frequencies or how they will work together smoothly.

Obviously, Lectro is highly dependable, but the receivers are huge and I don't know how I could mount them. So, are there any solid systems recommended for mini DV use? I'm thinking I'd have to stack them, but would love to know your thoughts.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Senn G2 ENG receivers are small. Mount one on camera handstrap and one on your belt (or both on camera if they work that way). Plenty written here on these systems, so do asearch for quick answers.

You can also use the camera mount on the top for one (the G2's come with a camera mount attachment). Or just do what I did once - gaffer tape to the leg of the tripod. Be careful if you hang them off your belt if you're using a tripod. Make sure to disconnect them BEFORE walking away from the camera. ;-)

I just finished a short film using Sony wireless lavs. Second film and am happy with the quality. I took both receivers, gaff taped them back to back and then taped them to the top handle over the onboard mic. It worked quite well. The only time we had a problem was when we went to pogo mount. We then gaffed them to the pogo and used them as part of the counterbalance.
Make sure that the handle mounted zoom is not depressed when you mount them.
The other idea that I had was using one of those neoprene belts that you see people with at the gym. The ones that they carry radios or cd players in.

The B.E.C. Group in Norfolk, VA offers many solutions for mounting wireless units to camcorders.
