I decided to change a few things in my user preferences recently, such as, adding thumbnails to my timeline and changing the default still/freeze frame to 5 secs. For some reason my changes are not being updated in FCP. I restarted FCP a few times and I'm still not seeing thumbnails in my sequences and my stills are still at the default 10 secs. I look in my user preferences again and my changes have been saved but it doesn't seem to be doing anything... Any ideas?
