Used Lighting Kits

Other than ebay, is there any other site/place to check for used lighting kits. I don't have the biggest budget to get a light kit. I know there's people out there who think they want to get in the business, buy a lot of stuff they never use, then sell it. So, is there such a place to find good deals.
thanks in advance,
Stussey

I hope others that chime in can help you with other site suggestions, perhaps other auction type websites.
I believe in MOST cases, not all, that Ebay may have the lowest prices on gear like this. That said, you have to bid on something,wait..., then bid on it again, wait....
get outbid again, rebid....wait... and then you missed your chance , because some idiot in Wisconsen bid .11 cents more than you...
You can try visual products.com or go back to ebay and contact some of the sellers that have their own Ebay stores, and perhaps find a good light kit or individual lights that way as well. Other sites will have higher prices than ebay, just because you can buy them immediately, just like any other store. Depending on what city your from, you might be able to contact a Video/film equipment rental house, and see if they have anything for sale. It might be beat up(paint it) it might need re-wiring( a few bucks).. Good luck.

The Marketplace section right here on DVXuser is pretty robust. I bought a light set there not too long ago that I'm very happy with and see kits for sale there pretty regularly. Good luck.

I have bought a number of used instruments from Pyramid Films. Easy to deal with and decent prices.
