I love the color correcting cotrol I get from Photoshop but since its "film strip" format makes files that are too large to deal with for long projects I would like to hear some pros and cons on color correcting in Vegas vs. After Effects.
Any users regularly use both? Keep in mind the most common problem I found with color correcting video is the "electronic grain" thats some times created when you adjust levels. Often times I have a clip thats a stop or two underexposed and I want to bring it back to a better exposure and try and keep it as clean as possible. I've corrected frame grabs that I though were lost for sure with Photoshop. They turned out great. Now which program to use for video and what tool am I looking for in the menus?
Thanks everyone
