Use Kino Flo lamps in FloLight...??

Heya

I'm about to pull the trigger on the 330w FloLight, since Cool Lights don't have European distributers.
But I'm wondering wether I can put the higher cri lamps from Kino Flo in the FloLight fixture of the 330w. I've spent quite an amount of time trying to find specifications wether or not this is possible.

So now I'm asking you guys

Don't see why not, looks like it takes the same 55w compact tubes.

I have a set of Kinos in my Coollights and they work great!

Haven't thought about this. Is there a difference in the voltages for the tubes on 120V or 220/230V or only for the mains side of the ballast?

According to this product description: http://www.cinelight.com/fluorescent-lights/portable-lights/flolight-220w-2-bank the Cinelight FloLight fixtures works well with Kino Flo lamps.
" - compatible with Kino Flo True Match and Osram Studio Line 55W lamps."

I use installed in my FloLight fixtures Philips brand lamps.

The only difference is in the ballast. The internal ballast drive this lamps to approx. 400V on both 120V and 230V.

Alex... I don't use Cinelight flos... doens't make much sense that they put silver on the barn doors.

One thing... are you affiliated with Cinelight in any way? 5/6 comments here on the board has been to "glorify" Cinelight.

Not at all. Just had the chance to work and I'm somehow familiar with their products and want to share the feedback.
Sorry if sound like "glorifying" their products. That's not my intention.
