Use HVX Chrosziel mattebox on HPX170...?

I've been using a Chrosziel clamp on mattebox for a few years now, first on my DVX and then on my HVX. It is model #440-03DVX, which came with a 104mm clamp adapter, 104:85mm step down ring, and 85:72mm step down ring (which screwed into the DVX lens). On the HVX I've been using an 82mm filter screwed in to the lens to clamp the mattebox onto.

Can anyone tell me whether this mattebox will clamp onto the HPX170? I know that it's a 72mm front like the DVX was, so I'm guessing it should be ok?

Also, it worked perfectly on the HVX200 but I know that the HPX170 lens is a little wider than the HVX, so would I be likely to see any vignetting at the wide end with this mattebox?

Just to let you all know, the mattebox fits perfectly. The 85:72mm step down ring screws into the lens thread and the mattebox clamps onto it. There is no vignetting at the wide end at all, but you do need to be careful that the mattebox is on straight or it will come in on one of the corners.

Great mattebox - it's onto its third camera now!
