Use Atmos Shogun as Monitor Only?

Hey Folks!

I know it's a new product and all, but I haven't been able to find if you can use the new Shogun as a monitor only, or if when it's hooked up via HDMI (to a Panasonic GH4) it requires you to try to record to it's SSD's. I have an SSD, however it's currently in use in this computer, I'd like to record to the multitude of SD card's I already have, and then get a separate SSD for the Shogun when needs require, using it as a REALLY GOOD monitor in the meanwhile.

You can use it just as a monitor. Record triggers can be turned off and even it the Shogun reacts on a trigger nothing happens to interfer with the monitor functions.
