Just checking, I want a jog shuttle for premiere/after effects and have seen a few on the net. Namley ranging between the humble http://www.contourdesign.com/shuttlepro/shuttlexpress.htm to the big multi button demons! Any joggers out there?

i have a shuttlepro (v 1?). the buttons are great (if too many), the center spin wheel is great, but the rubber black jog wheel, which controls the speed at which you fast forward and rewind is not as sensitive as i like. when you let go, it isn't an instantaneous stop. for this quality, i would go for the $50 xpress one (the one i have was $100 i think).

I have the shuttle pro 2 and it works incredible.. big improvement of version 1 (more buttons, jog dial is now aluminum)
I also use a griffin powermate, kinda like the xpress but is very very sensitive and smooth.

I have the ShuttlePro and really like it. Great for editing. Plus it has settings for most of the popular editing apps. You can also fully customize it for most applications. Use it with your browser, word processor, etc.. Very easy setup. Good feel to it.

I use them both together
.. and the powermate does have buttons, well, only one but still, its damn cool the way it glows
I use the powermate as a master track volume control, and pushing the button forces the current track to Solo. Really speeds things up, specially when Im a moron shooting with 2 camera and forget to sync both cameras.
