hey everyone I am shooting a documentary about a student exchange program

http://www.edlinks.us/tech-camp.html

i am in need of some good interview questions/voiceovers for the students...

im new to the documentary field... need some help!
How long is the shoot for and how many hours? I have done several documentaries for schools that wraps up in one day. This is the time to put on your producer hat (or hire one that can do the voiceovers too). You will need open-ended questions for the students and instructors. Create a outline of who the questions are for (one for the instructors, one for the students, one for the principal , etc...) Good luck!

well i intend to find a VO artist for the documentary. today i did the first round of interviews, i was lucky enough to let a newspaper reporter do all the questioning. It turned out pretty well, there was a total of 5 interviews. here are some screen grabs...

Great! Also, I've noticed in my working with Asians, they are very serious in nature (I know because I am Asian). Take a good separate shot of them smiling. Tell them "smiling is always a good thing!"

Ask them what they like best so far with the program and from this experience, what will they take away with them when they return home. It's good that you were able to film a news reporter to ask the open ended questions. This helps because I advocate hosts in all documentaries for more control to the story you need to convey for the purpose of the filming.
