Hi folks. I have an upcoming project in mid July in Witney, UK where my US client is sending us to their UK facility for a shoot. The client is US based and is paying me from here. No transaction will take place in UK. A few quick questions for those who have done this before. I will be taking a few items over in a 3 to 4 person crew, like 2 or 3 cameras, basic audio, 2 tripods, blackbird stablizer, 4 LED lights and a tricaster unit. Will otherwise look to rent lights in UK.
1. What permit/visa should I get (business?) No way to enter as tourist with this gear.
2. ATA Carnet or is list of gear with serials and replacement value stamped by US customs enough?
If anyone has experience with entering UK, feedback would be appreciated. I have a British embassy here in DC I can visit if it makes sense to avoid delays.
