Hi Guys,

I need a great and simple idea to show a manager of a band. Tomorrow I must meet them and they want to see a idea. Here you can find the lirycs.

It would be so nice if I could show them a really nice and simple idea. Of course I would put your name visible when the project is finished.

The Band has a big contract with a known company, but I can not tell you now details :=(

Hey you look at me
I got a devil in me
So you think I’m sweet
But I can make you bleed
I don’t need to be
What you expect of me
So just wait and see
When you cry I succeed
Bridge
Cos I am just a little *****
Chorus
Check me check what you’re gonna get
I’m gonna be the one to turn your head
Ooh baby, baby, baby can’t you see
You are not half the man I need (the man I need)
Verse
Hey you look at me
I got what you need
So you are on your knees
But I just like to tease
Bridge

Chorus (2X)
I’m a little… (repeat) *****
Chorus
Check me check what you’re gonna get (3X)
I’m a little I am a little little *****

When I see this I think of a girl with a hoodie on, first opening shot standing behind a fence. You get the imagery that she feels "caged in" but she's not.

As she explodes into song, she pulls down her hoodie, unzips her hoodie, takes it off - the statement - I'm free from you.

Then have a few extras in a diagonal dance number with in a graffiti riddled alley, have her dance on the top of a car at some point. Then drive away leaving him there when he enters the scene, leaving him with nothing.

That's all I got.

It’s kind of difficult to judge without actually hearing the song but I think I’ll go out on a limb here…. I see a guy and a girl that are together entering a club-like (or a bar) setting. The girl (she’s actually pulling her boyfriend into the bar/club), dressed very conservatively, is in awe of the place they are entering while the guy seems kind of uptight (almost nerdy and uncomfortable in his surrounding).

As they are entering the club some of the “bad-boys’ are giving her the “googly-eyes.” She looks intrigued by the stares while the boyfriend looks as if he wants to escape. As the song moves along the girl slowly starts to come out of her shell by responding to some of those stares (hugging up on the bad-boys etc.). She dances with a few of the “other’ guys while her disapproving boyfriend looks on helplessly (getting shoved around a bit by the other guys).

As her boyfriend is finally able to break through the bunch of bullies he is now in view of his once “innocent” looking girlfriend. Her clothes look like they are barely there …ripped and tight fitting to reveal a shapely figure (and somehow her make-up all of a sudden looks like a professional….if you know what I mean ;) ). She is now taunting her boyfriend telling him “you are not half the man I need.”

You can end it here…or....depending on how long the song is you can make it to where she is coming on to the last “bad-boy” in the club who actually turns out to be her “boyfriend gone wild” (dressed up like a bad boy). She ends up leaving with the guy she came in with.

Ok….I tried. For some reason it seems like an 80’s video. But this is the best I can do.

Oh...think "slow motion" for a lot of those shots.

Hi Everybody, nice ideas here. Thank you very much for your time. I'll wait until the Meeting and show them all ideas posted here.

The song is Pop. Keisha Style :=)

Hopefully I'll come back with good news.

If you have more ideas or changes let me know.

Thank you

Without hearing the song maybe shoot it in a dog pound, she could free a combination of dogs, humans and herself. Maybe take inspiration from a kevin smith movie or Robert Downey seniors film "pound" (I think thats the title). Sexy but funny.

Call me crazy...but read those lyrics again and picture a dominatrix in her 'dungen'.... I'm just saying, it works!

Something about the lyrics suggests the image of the singer appearing as two superimposed partially transparent versions (one nice, one nasty) of herself, the appropriate version 'taking over' on each line. That could be a pain to shoot though, as she'd have to do her bit twice, matching all the movements well enough to be combined in post.

A simpler cheaper version - nice and nasty versions of the singer, each carrying a mask which is a full sized photo of the other version's head, with eye and mouth holes, so she can hold it up in front of her head and take it away as required. That could give some interesting visual effects, both for transitioning between the two, and briefly fooling the audience into thinking she's the other version. You'd need to plan your shots very carefully though, to maintain visual continuity between the two versions of her in the final shot sequence.

Hi Everybody,
