URGENT! "BLOCKED CYLINDER" HOW TO UNBLOC

please fellows, I need help !
after a choc, the camera displays OK, but refuses the cassette saying: "Blocked Cylinder"
Is there a way or a trick to unblock-it ?!?

I believe that's a clogged recording head.  You should send your camera in for a head cleaning and servicing (~$100) unless you're confident about using the correct swabs and isopropyl alcohol to clean the heads yourself.  Under no circumstances should you use the cleaning tape--it's abrasive and will wear down the heads.  BTW, how many hours do you have on the heads?

I got that message 3 weeks ago on a shoot but for me it was just a matter of putting in a new tape. On tape 1 I had shot to the very end of the tape ignoring all messages telling me that the tape was nearing the end...I had to get the shot! Anyway, I got the message on the screen and then I put in a new tape. I may have turned the camera off and then back on again as well. Everything was fine after that.

is using a tape to the end a bad thing?
