Hi,
Trying to export a Final Cut sequence to mini dv tape. The footage was shot and edited in dvcpro hd (720p25). Could someone explain the settings I need to use?
I have followed the instructions, using the 'edit to tape' window, pressing play in that window, setting an inpoint and dragging the sequence into the "assemble" box.
This merely resulted in blank recorded footage.
Thinking this had something to do with the footage format, I thought I would try pulling the entire 720p25 footage into a new sequence with 4:3 PAL settings (as per UK broadcast standards, I am in the UK).
Now I follow all the rules as per with the 720p25 sequence, only this time I can only get as far as getting the tape to play. It won't let me set an in point! (pressing 'i' does nothing no matter how hard I bash it!)
Can someone give me a quick tutorial on this if poss? I assume it should be really straightforward, but no luck so far at all. I only have an hour left to hand in/submit my footage.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers
James
