Upgrading To Prem Pro

I Will Shortly Be Upgrading From Premier Elements To Adobe Prem Pro 2. Is It Recommended To Completely Un-install Elements Prior To The New Installation Or Does It Really Matter. I Will Finish My Current Project Prior To The Upgrade.

I don't think so. Premier Elements should set back as a independent software package. I would hate for you to loose any old projects you may want to save or go back to.

I have over the years had several photoshop versions and none has asked me to overwrite or uninstall previous versions. it may sound stupid but i just keep them in there.

btw, welcome to to PP2.0, i was like you some years ago and finally when to the pro suite. i recommend some tutorials before you dive in to all those buttons. LOL

We had several problems. Not with elements but with a try out version.
Adobe has a cleaner tool on his website that deletes every trace of former installations. I would recommend using that.
