Upgrading to Centrino 2 with 90% performance increase. Worth it?!!

Hi,

Will upgrading to new Sony Vaio Notebook with Centrino 2 CPU will increase Vegas performance? I am talking about the new VGN-Z12GN with the new Centrino 2 P8600 (2.40 GHz) CPU, 3MB Cache, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 350GB HDD, and
1066 MHz FSB (Processor System Bus, & Memory Bus)

My current Vaio is the VGN-SZ79 with T9300 (2.5GHz) CPU, 6MB Cache, 250GB HDD, and 4GB RAM.

In Intel website, thy shows 90% performance increase in Vegas (Centrino 2 vs. Centrino) is that true??!!
