Hi,

I'm selling my proaim follow focus cause of it's cheapness. And I'm selling my Lilliput 689 (I think) to get something else.

NOW, I need advice for :

-New follow focus (Tilta/Trusmt/another?)

-New monitor (Lilliput style), anyone got feedback on the new one with cool features?

-Rods.. looking for carbon rods, I've seen a few on ebay, any feedback?

Cheer lads!

I use a Trusmt Follow Focus NF2 FF which I like a lot. Some people had issues with them but the company has largely resolved those issues with product updates and they are very responsive to customer needs.

I have an set of 18" carbon fiber rods which I have used only once although I frequently need rods as long as 18". I find that I call on my Zacuto rods of varying lengths much more often as I can screw them together to fit the varying components I need on a particular job. It's a little bit of a hassle to pass items over the point at which the rods screw together but it works for me. I have 12", 6", 4.5" and 3" rod components.

I know nothing of the Lilliput but I also like my Ikan V-8000HDMI 8" LCD Monitor which I use for quick reference, non critical work and my TVLogic VFM-056WP 5.6" monitor for more critical applications.

Agree, NF2 Works really Great. Try looking at the iFocus from Gini as well. As for the Tilta, I don't really recommend. Lastly, I also love Lamparte Follow Focus.
As for the Monitor, you mentioned about Lilliput, which means you don't have tons of budget. I would really save up for something like DP4 but if you need a field monitor, check out coollcd.com which you can choose from different monitors.
There is also one monitor from indiproco and swivi LCD.
the rods on ebay are very usable. I've tried mounting 15lbs of weight and it still hold on to it.
Hope this helps
