I'm trying to keep my Mac up to date. It's a 2008 Mac Pro with OS 10.6.8. I get the spinning beach ball all the time, and memory errors when working with big 1080 projects.
Should I spend the $$$ on a new video card? I've already paid a few hundred for more RAM. At what point do I simply upgrade to a new Mac Pro? Will FCP7 work on a new Mac Pro?
I apologize if this has been discussed but the search option on the site won't allow me to search for "new mac pro" as all the words are too short or too common. Can someone point me to an already existing thread if one exists?
