Everything was fine in 5.5 I have a Panasonic DVCpro VTR i would capture video from and to in Premiere. Also i could attach closed caption files (.SCC files created in a captioning software pgrm) to the sequence and then print to tape (back to the VTR)
Now in CS6 Premiere will not pass the video back through the firewire to the VTR, but does allow me to capture video FROM the VTR. Spent an hour on phone with Adobe support and they DO NOT HAVE AN ANSWER.
Now, I am also seeing that I can't even play back files with the Closed Caption attached within Premiere's program monitor.
Geeze! What else is broken in Premiere CS 6 ?????
(this is working on a Macpro Xeon 3.8gzh processor with a quadro 4000 video card and 12gig ram. Using latest Lion OSX operating software and CS6.0.2 latest version)
