Would appreciate any recs on this, guys.
I'm a iMac owner having to replace a faulty video card that makes my screen wig out and go black for no reason (it's a known issue for Apple). Anyhow, I was thinking instead of swapping it out for a straight replacement I might use the opportunity to upgrade to a card that gives me more editing muscle in Premiere. The machine currently is fitted with a Radeon HD 6970 video card -- fyi.
Can anybody direct me to a better card? I have a mid_2011 iMac.
BTW, while I was writing this post, the screen just went to black ... go figure!
