Hey guys! I'm in need of some improvements on my DVX and I need some tips on what's the best an in better price too ;)

That's what I need

A shotgun microphone
An extra battery
A camera mount light (is LED the best choice?)
A wide angle lens.

thanx a lot for the help

search, search, search!

btw, I have the NTG-2 shotgun mic, the panasonic battery, no lights, the 16x9 wideangle lens. and I love them all.
I would suggest you looking for used items but they will still cost you like $500.....good luck

Searching at B&H I've found these, I need to know if it's the best choice:

Battery

  • Panasonic
  • CGA-D54 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack

Light:

  • LPMICRO Micro LED on Camera Light

Do you really need a wide angle adapter? Putting more glass in front of the lens is not the goal if you can avoid it.

The NTG-2 is good but won't do anything without a kit- boom pole, wind guard, cables. It looks like that link is just the mic. I've never used an on camera light and never plan to, I guess some event videographers need it. If that's the right battery you don't have much choice. As was said, all this information is available if you look around the forum or elsewhere rather than wait for a kind person like myself to respond to your thread. I'm really not trying to sound bitchy with that, but everything comes out that way this week.

Well, thanx anyway. I feel the need for a wide angle, because sometimes I have to shoot on small places, packed with kids. And the camera just don't offer me all I need.

I'll follow your advice and do some more research.
