upgrade from Manfrotto. Advice?

Which Manfrotto do you have?

From what I understand the 509HD / 536 is a huge hit. So much Manfrotto can't even match demand. I'm waiting for my 509 / 545 kit at the moment. But the reason I mention the 536 is because if you are on the move, it takes little time setting up because it has no spreader. Beyond that you can go as low as 45 cm and as high as 210cm. That's a great range for the money.

I recall reading some different posts that people returned their FSB4 setup because they were unhappy with it.

I've been looking at tripods myself, and the FSB 4 has come up as the winner, IMHO. The speed lock legs alone are so convenient, that they alone make this the tripod to choose. BTW, I've seen the FSB 4 up close and personal, so I'm not just going off what I've read.

The only problem is the weight limit range is so small.

My feeling is that if I exceed the upper range of the FSB 4, I'm going to be wanting to use my current camera with the FSB 4 as a B camera setup anyway. That said, you could look at the FSB 6, realizing that it's minimum camera + accessories weight is 2.2 lbs.

yeah I think I might end up just getting FSB-4. If you get it first tell me what you think of it.
