Unusual logging problem FCP7

Editing a rather large project. In the log and transfer function in the middle of logging (DVCHD 720P) footage it just hits a wall. I have also noticed at the bottom of the status box 6.4G status. To be honest in 2 years of editing I cannot remember seeing that. Ive tried rebooting, closing and reopening the project. Starting anew project for a sub sequence. Im at wits end. It starts to log then stalls.

Any suggestions are truely appreciated.

Solved the issue after some help from friends at Brooks. The scratch and render disc (external 4tb Graid) was full.
