Universal Softboxes?

I'm not sure if these are made... I looked through B&H with little luck...

I have some OLD Altman 7.5" fresnels.

I've got some barndoors for them, they are about 8.5"-9" in W/H.

My question is this: does anyone sell softboxes that can just be mounted onto the barndoors of a light? Everything I look at goes to a specific light or speed ring, and since my Altman lights are really old, I don't know their model #.... I can measure them, but I don't know if that would help since the grooves are different for different models...

I believe that chimera makes an adjustable speed ring, but quite frankly I'm not familiar enough with it to say how it works.

Chimera does have speedrings:

Even some for Altman but I think the only safe thing is to call them and find out what they think will work with your model. You'll probably need a model number to give them but failing that they may ask for dimensions. Hope this helps.
