ok here is my problem, I'm casing a film,my twilight fest film, I have an actress that says she was in a couple major films one by universal but her part ended up cut out, no sign of her on imdb or anywhere on the web. so how do I contact the universal casting department, or the ones who cast Chariie wilson's war?
 
Why exactly do you want to get in touch with them?

I guess I just don't understand your objective, or what you are actually asking. If you could clarify, that would be great.
 
I understand your point, but can she act? Or are you looking for star-power for your film?

Ask her for a contact there. Trying to back-channel this could backfire, and you lose her as an actress. If she can act, and she is what you want for your project, what she has done in the past makes no difference. Most of the time, people who do not show up on film as an actor/actress/extra (left on the cutting room floor) don't get credit on IMDB.

Honesty is the best policy here.
 
my last burn it down, I had an actress who was in a couple major films, she was actually in them listed on imdb and all, also in a few shorts in the Bay area, I didn't look into her, other wise I would have known she was inreliable, she dropped out the night before we started shooting, so I'm upfront with all actors that If I consider them for the part I look into their resume`.

and its my understanding that everyone who worked on a production can be on imdb

and I agree with the honesty is the best policy, if I can confirm what she has told me she has the part, if not then, well lets just say I don't aprove of "resume` padding"



so how do i go abouut contacting the casting department?
