Does anyone have any information about the Australian company that produced the Universal brand tripods and heads...???
I've got a late 70's model 16FX that I need a couple of knobs for... The head itself is in actually good shape. I cannot find any info on Universal online.
 
Universal is the Company Miller founded after he left Miller.
Got a Universal head too. Love it.

It's simply incredebile the amount of knowledge here...

That explains why the head is sitting on a "Miller-Compact" two stage tripod. I also have an old set of wooden legs with a Miller label on it... I don't remember which set the head came on...
