underwater green screen

I'm thinking of shooting a music video using a dunk tank and a green screen out side on the back that so I can change the background. With insurance and what not I thought this would be a cheaper alternative.
Any thoughts?

You mean cheaper insurance-wise than filming in shark-infested ocean? :)

Yes, but you introduce all the problems of greenscreen, plus having to cleanly light your green background which could require underwater lights to stop unwanted diffraction rippling patterns.

It all depends on the shots you need - what will the foreground actors etc be doing, what will the background be, etc. And what greenscreen experience you have.

Cheaper than renting a Phantom and setting up a fan (or more...), and 'wire' setup for the actors to 'float'...

I didn't know people planned shots with music videos =)
