Under the hood

I have been filming for years now and can basically work any camera. What I don't know is how it all works. Like a car, I can drive any vehicle, know how to change a tire and oil and other maintance, but can't rebuild a transmission.
Any book or tutorials out there that can explain the guts of a camera? Most specifically Panasonics with P2 tech. I would love to be able to take one apart myself but my employeers won't like that very much
