Undead a little Aussie Movie

God ALMIGHTY!!

Looks like the "Zombie" movies are coming out of the woodwork now!!

"28 Days Later" brought about a rebirth of them it seems.

I watched this about a year ago. Its been out for awhile, but because of the US zombie craze, alot of flicks are just now working their way over here. Much like alot of Kung-fu flicks have done.

hey someone posted this movie a while ago.. is this the one with the big guy with the hat doing matrix moves on the zombies??

i had thought it was a DVX film...

i could be wrong. alot of similarities.

Nah, it was shot on Super16 actually

I noticed that the new website (Lions Gate one)is trying to make is trying to make the movie look genuinly scary. That could let some people down because it isn't, I'd say it's more like a Braindead (Dead Alive) type of flick.

It was received well over here (I went to the Premiere in 2003) and I like it. I think it might be something like how British comedy is in America. Which is my guess as to why alot of people don't like it over there (ie Australian humour not translating well)

Just my 2 cents

I noticed that.

The original trailer is nothing compared to what the one is now. This new trailer is all 'serious, scary, brooding doom'

What it fails to show is the lame ass matrix stunts by the 'Deliverance Looking Dude'.

Clever marketing

I just bought the dvd along with Romeros Land of the Dead. The behind the scenes is pretty long and interesting. JMHO. Check it out.

Yes its finally out. The behind the scenes is an interesting look at small budget filmmaking(almost a million Australian though). There is a brief useless feature on building a Crane/Dolly as well but the behind the scenes stuff is worth looking at. The whole film is edited on Premiere Pro which the filmmakers were not too fond of from what they say at one of the festival screenings on the dvd. Enjoy.
