Uncompressed Worthwhile?

Hi. I'm storing a final copy of my 10 minute movie of my movie on my computer. Is it worth it to store an uncompressed version of the movie, which takes up about 30 gigs? Or is this unnecessary extra information? For example, is there a noticeable difference between this huge uncompressed file and a DV-NTSC compressed file when I export to tape or print to DVD?

I doubt it. As far as I know you would only use uncompressed video if you are taking the file through several stages of editing to preserve image quality every time you render it out. If this is the final version of your film then you should just output it as compressed. I recommend rendering out to MPEG-2 so that you won't have to transcode it when you burn with an authoring software.
