Where can I find clips that are not compressed to judge the quality of this camera? I'm specifically interested in whether or not it is any cleaner in the lows and sharper than the HVX. Thanks!

The HPX170 is not exactly identical to the 200A, but is generally comparable. For detailed comparisons of the 170 vs. the 200A, look at this thread:

The 170 is very slightly sharper than the original 200 when set to a comparable coring level. But it's not a big difference, maybe about 40 lines of res or so.
