Can't figure out where this questions shoudl be posted on this forum, but maybe one of you guys can help:
We've been filming behind the scene footage on the set of my film DEUCE OF SPADES with a tiny Panasonic HD camera which belongs to one of my actors.
It comes with a software called ImageMixer3.
The native files from the camera do not seem to be compatible with vegas so I can't open them that way. (each clip appears to comprise of two files, one .MOI file and and one .MOD file - vegas can't open them - not sure what these file formats are)
So I have to use Image Mixer. I am able to open and view them in there and the goal would be to render and output them as MPG files (the only option in that software) so I can export them and then import them into Vegas to edit them properly.
HOWEVER the gosh darn Image Mixer software is not letting me open the files in the "edit videos" mode. I can view them, in the "import and view videos" but I unable to open them and place them on the timeline in the "edit video" section of the software, so I can render them into a MPG format vegas would understand.
I HAVE READ THE ENTIRE MANUAL THREE TIMES AND INVESTED HOURS IN THIS BS and can't figure out why it is not seeing my files when I open their editor.
I sure would like to start posting some behind the scebe footage on my blog and here...
Can anyone help?
