"un-smooth" motion keyframes...

What's the deal with Vegas keyframes in the pan/crop window --why are motions not smooth, but rather, slow at the start and end, ie, near the start and finish keyframe? (for example, if you're zooming in on a shot by increasing the crop at the end of the shot, the motion is slow at the beginning, speeds up in the middle, then slows down again at the ending keyframe)

I've noticed this for over a year now, but it's never really interfeared with any projects...until now.

I realize one can 'cheat' this by intentionally making the clip longer than necessary, render, then cutting off both ends (where the motion is slower), but this shouldn't be necessary.

Also, how do I MOVE a bezier mask using the mouse? I know you can use the co-ordinates in the properties panel, but I once directly moved the mask with a tool/mouse, but for the life of me, CAN'T REMEMBER HOW I DID IT!!!

thanks folks

Well for your keyframes problem....just offset a few frames before the clip shows up so the slow parts dont get shown....or just use the Track Motion box...instead of pan/crop...theres no slowing down when you use that.

Hold down CTRL and click and drag the Beizer anchor.

Ah. OK.

But I think the fix might be the right-click on the keyframe itself and choose another transition method.

Or maybe both. :)
