you guys are killing me.. we went from a perl based program with a flat base to a PHP with SQL database.. things couldn't be perfect so we lost some stuff.. but it had to be done.

Date things will work.

I do need you guys to loginto your userCP and update your locations.

I used to admin for forums and stuff. i feel for you jarred.
 
Uh uh....away from flat files to SQL? I couldn't ever find a host with a reliable SQL server, hopefully in this case everything will work out fine.
 
So why not use phpbb. I think it looks a heck of lot better than Vbulletin. It's also php and sql based and extremely easy to manage. I use it myself on my personal site. ~reservoir~
 
Great move Jared!! this is the best thing that could of happen to the forums. The amount of information i have already found with the search is great.

Phpbb migration tools from the old forums would not of worked well. I run a webhosting business and use alot of different forums for clients. I dont my mind either vbulletein or phpbb, they both work well.
 
The one and only flaw this site had, the search engine, has been fixed. Sweetness. Thanks.
I remembered one other, this site keeps me from finishing work, not sure how we can fix that.
