im working with a 24p timeline. i am working on an wakeboarding flick and was wondering what advice i can dig up on really slowing stuff down? i have heard that i can only go to 60%...is there anything i can do to slow it down more and keep it looking good? please advise.
Hello. The best method of really slowing stuff down is to shoot 60i, seperate the fields in an app like After Effects (so you get 60p) and change the framerate to 24fps which would give you something like 40% slomo. If you want even slower motion you should try a plugin like Twixtor or a framerate change with Compressor 2 (change the framerate to something wild like 100fps and later confrom to 24fps ...)
