I just got the Ultimate S 2.0 and I am using the Quad cam feature. I have 3 cameras and when I play off the timeline the previews have alot of strobe. Has anyone else had this happen. The hard drives make a little chatter too. I have maxtor 7200rpm 16mb drives. Could the strobe be from my video card?

I don't believe Vegas utilizes the video card at all, from what I've heard. Possibly your CPU's having a hard time keeping up? Try viewing with a smaller preview window at preview setting ... perhaps you have it on a higher setting you don't need for simple cuts, etc.
