Ultimate interlaced flicker, bad for an old television?

hey,

Does anyone know if this image is bad to show on a old television? will it blow it up? i have done it on a new one and its fine:
(p.s. if you rotate it you can make some cool colours! (only works on interlacing tv). ::

That image is gonna flicker like a mofo. It's way too fine of detail for a standard TV to resolve.

Yep, on my production monitor it pretty much explodes. (Brought it into FCP.)

depending on the method of interlacing I believe the top line needs to be black to get it to flicker, but it may be white, or perhaps it doesn’t matter and will flicker to hell either way, its a good example of how flicker filter works in FCP and flicker removal in premiere, it gives it a horizontal blur making the image grey and flicker free.
