Ukrainian Film Industry

[Brickhouse]

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about, or knows someone who knows about the film industry in Ukraine.
How does the work compare to Vancouver, Canada?
Do they speak Ukrainian or Russian?
What are the rates like?
Any other information.

If someone could answer some of these questions, or put me in touch with someone who can, that would be fantastic.

Thank you.

Ukrainian is similar to Polish with borrowed Russian words.

Based on this alone, I'd have to think it's pretty sparse. Not a thing like Vancouver.

Not a thing like Vancouver.

True- no Chernobyl in BC.
