UK Police using Soundcloud to publish calls that misuse 999 (our 112)

It's interesting to see how police are using Twitter and now even Soundcloud.

They are uploading idiots that dial 999 (which should be for life and death incidents), including a man calling up as the service at the McDonald's drive through is too slow:

In the US, it's 911.

And for more trivia, in Mexico it used to be 231.......

In all fairness, I tried looking up the number to our local Police Force. It's 911 for emergencys here. The phone book lists only 911 as the number to call to contact the local force. Several other searches yield the same thing. So what are we to do? I just wanted to report a non emergency situation. Frustrating.
