I shot EPK and behind the scenes on season 1. I recall watching them shoot the first few episodes, thinking to myself, "this crew doesn't know what the hell they are doing" although it was fun to watch Vanessa Williams work. They got it together though, the show became a massive hit, then it jumped the shark, and today, it is officially dead. Such is life in TV Land.

Those couple of times that I caught it on TV I liked the look, the colors. I did not care for content. I hate long-running shows. I stopped caring for ER at about season 4, for Friends at season 5 and for Scrubs at season 6. All the same, all the same.

I never watched this incarnation of the show, but I saw a little bit of the original. It's amazing how the franchise evolved, and I think that's worth looking at even more than this particular production is.

First year, solid. Once the Brit gal got pregnant I think the show went on the wrong tangent and I stopped watching.

I think it went downhill when the storylines started getting too dark. People dying. Being murdered. Being accused of murder. Things just got too weird. It seems like they lost sight of their overall theme and the chemistry that made it work in the first place.
