UCLA Tom Lazarus mentoring :)

Today I start a 4 week one-on-one mentoring course online through UCLA with Tom Lazarus (Stigmata...), hoping it is going to be a good experience. What a tremendous opportunity. I have a supernatural thriller beated out (50 scenes), logline, summary, synopsis, arcs, theme, bios, but my goal for the four weeks is to have Tom help me really solidify all that and take it up a few notches. Maybe also have Tom guide me through a solid treatment, so I will be set for then typing FADE IN. Well, just sharing this with your regulars here who will understand, and because I am jazzed. I did have a bad experience once before with a paid telephone conference with a popular screenwriting book author/guru (he dominated the conversation, would not let me even get in some questions, and had obviously not even read the synopsis I had sent him prior to the phone conference; that cost me $750, a waste in retrospect, since this four weeks with Tom Lazarus is about the same cost), so I hope that does not happen with this situation; since this is through UCLA I am hopeful this will be a good experience.
