Anyone knows how to simulate the letter by letter writing on the screen as if i were writing live?

thanks!

Just type all the text, then use bezier masks to reveal one letter at a time. Make sure the keyframes are set to "hold". The audio will sell the effect.

You can use a moving mask to reveal them. By this I do not mean a bezier mask, but something like a black card which moves to the right. Do it in jerky steps and you should be able to reveal one letter at a time, instantly.

You can key frame each letter, but you must use left justification then pan the frame to where you need your text to be.

Get a used typewriter for $5, point the camera at the paper on the drum, and type it.

You'll get the sound with it as well.

IMO, still the fastest and cheapest solution.

Why would bezier mask take you four hours. I use it all the time. Should take you 20 minutes if its a complicated move. Keyframes are your friend! Draw one mask and keyframe it to move when a where you want. Heck I think I can do what you want faster than type it on the typewriter.

Heck send it to me and I will do it for you! ;P
