Two questions

Hello everyone,
Finally we will be shooting in November.I have two questions.
First of we are shooting with HVX and probably SGPro.
1-Would this work in a subway car?I don't wanna bring any light in,that will be a big problem for us.

2-How do you handle Make-up?Same way you do with film or DV or is there something else?

Thank you in advance

Good day.

If the issue is how much light you will need you should scout the location before and see if you have enough light. Or have someone do it for you. Subway lighting varies depending on model, state, country, rail line, etc. If you are stealing the shot the SGpro will take more setup time and is more conspicous as well as needing more light because of the adapter.

The flolight is way too expensive. I bought a similar light off ebay for $14.00. Havent color tempted it but its close to daylight. Can't remember the sellers name right now. Its good for close up shots but anything medium or wide is not going to do you much good. You will also have to gel the flolight to match the flourescents which will cut the light from it even further.

If you can, using a high power battery operated light ( rental) or having somene hold a bounce card for fill would be better because they may be able to get a closer but out of camera view.

Or if you have enough light you might not need any light at all.

Found an ebay link for the light. Its the 48 led ones:

Hey Mico thank you for info and that link. You are so right about each train being different.I live in New York and each train is extermely different .

I think I will not use the adapter in subway because it is not practical.
So with the stock lense I might getaway without any light.hmmm that sounds great,.

Thanks a million.
Good day

use a small battery powered on camera light. just off frame with some diffusion. it will bring up the face just enough to be pretty.
