Hey ya'll...going to be getting my HVX200 very soon (picking up this kit: http://www.vistek.ca/details/details.aspx?WebCode=224343) and I just had a couple of questions.
The first one is, I'm thinking of getting an on camera LCD screen to help with focus and whatnot (as I've read many a time that focusing HD on those little screens is a *****). Anyway, do I have to shell out over a grand on a Marshall or would one of these suffice?

The second is, I will be cutting on a Mac Pro, but when I'm out in the field I will most likely only have my PC Laptop with me (with external storage). Since I will only have the 2 4gig P2 cards probably for a long while (Hey, they're expensive, and that 8gig deal is only available in the US
) I will be offloading the footage through my Laptop onto the externals. Now here is the question.
Is it possible to have an external work with both a Mac and a PC? Meaning, I would have to have it connected to my PC laptop on the set, and then unplug the USB harddrive and connect it to the Mac Pro...or does that not work?
Sorry, I haven't gotten my Mac yet so I'm still a little clueless.
Thanks for your help!
