Question # 1. When moving files from pd6 (4 tracks in one file) to pro tools 7 le. all those tracs are unreadable. Doesn't LE support that option???

Question # 2. I want to find the Region List in pro tools. I have the file list but can't find regions. It is in 7 le. I just cut out the bits of sounds from the tracks and I was hoping i will find a region list where these will automatically go. Do I have to do something before that??

ok i see the files that I imported so I'm guessing that is the region list, but what if i cut small pieces of those files rename them they dont show up in the same region list. They are not there at all

First let me say RTFM, you will find many usefull things in there. One is that there is an option to not show "auto created" regions. You can also not show video, MIDI and various other types of info. You probably are not showing "auto created" regions. Every time you create a new region by splitting etc and it is an "auto created" I believe if you rename it it will show up. Also you might have done a "find". If so only files and regions that fit the search criteria will show. There is a way to modify that also. I realize your on Le and probably didn't get a printed manual but if you don't like reading on line buy a printed copy. Then read it!
The DUC is a great resourse but they will get snippy with you if you start asking a lot of questions that are in the manual.

Why get snippy? It's quicker to ask specific questions that have meaning to me. Just because you like to read volumes, or is it just becaused you 'suffered' through the manual, everybody else should too?
Don't give if you don't want to, but leave the dogma out, thanks.
That's my rules dude.

Dude? Are we having flashbacks?

I'm not getting snippy. PT is a very thick program you will be wasting a lot of other peoples time so you don't have to do your homework. Plus I answered the question, or tried to. If you don't read the manual then you will also be missing a lot of stuff that you won't ask questions about because you didn't know it existed. If you go around posting questions and explaining your asking because you don't want to waste your time reading the manual I think your not going to get that many responses.
When your the moderator I guess I will have to follow "your rules, dude" but till that dark day I guess I'll just have to suffer by on my own.
