Two different sound recordings

I did a commercial yesterday and I used the Oktava Mk012 for one channel of audio. Due to the extreme sensitivity of these mics (The draft of someone walking by can clip them) I used the internal microphone for the other track of audio. All seems well with the Oktava sound so is there a way I can get rid of the internal mic and double up the Oktava mic recording? If this is confusing let me know. Tim.

Only thing I can think of, Tim, is to select the left/right channel only (which ever one the Octava is on), and then duplicate the track ... but if you're wondering about turning that mono into stereo, it wouldn't be true stereo no matter what you did, because it's still from only one mic source.

Sure. Just pan the track to whichever side is the octiva, and then export as mono. THen open it and put it in a new track.

EDIT: Like Envision said, it wont be stereo, but you can fake that by adding a tiny degree of Chorus to one track. Or, ofsett the track by a frame and you will have a slight echo which can help.
