I've got two batteries (one for the HVX and one for a sony) that have died in about 14 months time. Neither one will power anything, neither will take a charge, neither one seems to even be recognized by the camera or charger. Neither one of these had a lot of cycles on them... is it possible they died from Under use??? My primary batteries that have a lot more cycles on them are still going strong.
They are both 3rd party. The hvx one is spec-comm and the sony is impact brand. So were these sub-par products or did I not give them enough "exercise"? If it was something I didn't do correctly, I don't want to repeat it in the future.
